FULLERTON, CA — A Los Angeles man was arrested on charges of child sexual abuse by Fullerton police Wednesday, authorities said.
Claudio Marino HernandezLopez, 40, was arrested on a search warrant following an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse involving a girl who was between the ages of 4 and 12 at the time of the abuse.
Investigation into the case started in January when Fullerton Police Department detectives received a police report from another police agency in Los Angeles County regarding a child sexual abuse case that happened in Fullerton, police said.
HernandezLopez was arrested on July 15 after an arrest warrant was served at his Los Angeles home, police said.
He was booked at the Fullerton City Jail for violating Penal Code Section 288.7 (a) and is currently being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail, police said.
