21-Year-Old Killed In OC E-Bike Crash ID'd: Police

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A man who died in an e-bike crash in Huntington Beach was identified this week.

Jeffrey James Marlow, 21, of Westminster, died Sunday, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Marlow crashed at about 12:30 p.m. last Tuesday at Warner Avenue and Plaza Lane, according to police.

He was rushed to an area hospital, but died of his injuries Sunday.

Marlow was riding west on Warner Avenue west of Plaza Lane when he lost control of his e-bike and crashed, authorities said.

The make and model of his e-bike was not immediately known.

The circumstances leading up to the crash were under investigation.
