GARDEN GROVE, CA — A 60-year-old man with a prior conviction was charged Tuesday with vandalizing Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove.
Ferdinand Bernal Ramos was charged with a count of vandalism and two counts of vandalizing religious property, all felonies.
He pleaded not guilty in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, according to court records.
Ramos was also charged in February with misdemeanor battery in a separate case, according to court records.
In addition, Ramos pleaded guilty Dec. 8 to vandalizing a Toyota dealer and was sentenced to a month in jail and placed on two years of probation, which he violated, court records show.
