ANAHEIM, CA — Movita Juice Bar in Anaheim is open! And owners Jennifer Delgado and her husband Matthew Quirarte are ready to serve the community that has already served them.

Their juice bar is open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is located in the Anaheim Town Square at 2278 E. Lincoln Ave. and is worth a visit.

At Movita, the menu offers everything from protein shakes to acai bowls. Whether you order avocado toast or other snacks and meal items, you really can't go wrong.

If you can't decide what to order, the owners or staff can offer suggestions. Plus, follow them on Instagram and TikTok, where they promote their business by creating funny and informative videos about their store, their products, and each other.

"Jennifer's journey began as a Movita customer, searching for options that supported digestive issues," according to a spokesperson. "That personal health journey inspired her to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and a Movita barista. Now, she has come full circle, owning the brand's Anaheim store.

But opening the store hasn't been without a few trials.

In July, as they were building out their new venture, vandals destroyed the front door and mail slot of their Anaheim business. Thankfully, there was nothing to steal, according to Matt. The couple came in early, cleaned up, boarded the window, got estimates, and were able to replace the door within a matter of days. "This was a major inconvenience, and was really disheartening," he said. Getting the door replaced cost them $800 immediately, out of pocket.

"It was an extremely emotional and financial setback," he said. Even with the struggle, owning their own business is "1000 percent worth it."

However, with the support and encouragement they received from family, friends, the Anaheim community, and the Movita franchise network, they have a new door and a new appreciation for their business.

"The life of an entrepreneur means unexpected things," Jennifer says. From lighting issues to the broken door, she has been transparent about the good and challenging parts of opening a store over social media.

According to Delgado, by showing the obstacles and hurdles, as well as their triumphs, she hopes to share the same inspiration she has found from other women in business. She added, "Without women business owners sharing their story, I wouldn't have the guts to open my own juice bar in Anaheim."
