Man Hospitalized After Stabbing At Fullerton Park & Ride; Suspect At Large

FULLERTON, CA — A man remained hospitalized Sunday after being stabbed at a Park & Ride lot in Fullerton while his attacker remained at large.

Officers responded at 10:39 a.m. Sunday to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the Orange County Transportation Authority Park & Ride lot at 3000 W. Orangethorpe Ave., near the Golden State (5) and 91 freeways, according to the Fullerton Police Department.

The man was stabbed with a sharp object, possibly a knife, and was initially reported to be in critical condition.

Fullerton police spokesperson Kristy Wells told City News Service that as of Sunday afternoon, the victim remained hospitalized and the suspect was at large.

There were no further descriptions of either person available.

An investigation was ongoing.
