ANAHEIM, CA — A family's special moment at "The Happiest Place On Earth" came with an unexpected spectator: Matt Damon.
Video published to Instagram Friday showed a little girl meeting Goofy for the first time at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel.
The video, published by Loryn Powell, shows Powell's husband kneeling beside their daughter as Goofy walks over to greet her.
The girl smiles, waves and hugs the character.
All the while, Damon appeared to be enjoying the moment while standing in the background of the video.
The acclaimed actor can be seen observing the interaction, smiling and with his arms crossed.
"POV you're watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time but don't realize Matt Damon is also watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time," Powell wrote over the video.
Some commenters questioned whether the man in the background was really Damon, though other viewers noted that his baseball cap appeared to bear the name Artists Equity, the production company he co-founded with Ben Affleck.
According to Yahoo News, the 50-year-old actor was photographed at Disneyland on Thursday with his wife, Luciana Barroso, their daughters and other family members to celebrate his daughter's 18th birthday.
The family wore matching "Birthday Crew" shirts and posed in front of the giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A, the outlet reported.
