ANAHEIM, CA — A 65-year-old man was found dead near Disneyland, but police said they did not suspect foul play.
Anaheim police responded about 1:40 p.m. and found the man deceased near the Anaheim theme park's south entrance, south of Katella Avenue, Anaheim Police Sgt. Eric Anderson told City News Service.
Anderson said the man, whose name was not immediately released, was known to be homeless. His death appeared to have resulted from natural causes.
OnScene.TV, which first reported the incident, said Anaheim Fire and Rescue paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The news service also reported that an area was closed while police investigated, requiring park visitors to take alternate routes.
It was not immediately clear whether the death occurred on Disneyland property or nearby.
