ANAHEIM, CA — A man was charged of stabbing a 28-year-old man who he found in bed with his wife in Anaheim, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Ismael Pinedalopez, 34, was charged with murder and a sentencing enhancement alleging he personally used a deadly weapon.
He was accused of stabbing Nicolas Garcia, a 28-year-old Whittier resident, to death on Saturday.
According to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Pinedalopez got home from work early in the 700 block of North Pine Street and found the victim in his underwear in bed with his wife.
According to Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer, Pinedalopez's 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son were also in the bed.
Pinedalopez's wife and two children were not hurt in the incident.
"Violence is never the answer, and it is truly heartbreaking that these young children had to witness their father commit such a horrific act of brutality in their own home," Spitzer said in a statement.
