Anaheim Cops Surround Barricaded Bank Robbing Suspect
Anaheim Police officers surrounded a home on Chanticleer Road where a suspect was barricaded, reports say.

ANAHEIM, CA — After hours surrounding a barricaded robbery suspect in the 2500 block of West Chanticleer Road, authorities apprehended the man without incident.
The robbery suspect, a 21-year-old male wanted for armed robbery and brandishing a firearm, was holed up in an Anaheim home Monday for several hours until he finally surrendered, at about 3 p.m., Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.
The suspect allegedly robbed a man sometime between late Friday and early Saturday near where he barricaded himself Monday morning, according to Wyatt.

When police originally responded to the scene of the robbery they could not find the suspect, but they were called back to the area about 6:30 a.m. Monday, when the suspect allegedly returned and pointed a gun at the same victim, Wyatt said.
During the standoff, "Flash bangs" were used as part of the police department's "tactical operation" to bring the event to a close, police said.
