Anti-LGBTQ+, Anti-Semitic Flyers Found In Huntington Beach Neighborhood
The flyers were found on the driveways of homes near Edison High School in Huntington Beach Wednesday morning.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Some Huntington Beach residents living near Edison High School woke up Wednesday morning to find anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-Semitic flyers on their driveway.
Huntington Beach Councilmember Natalie Moser told Voice of OC that a resident sent her a picture of the flyer Wednesday morning.
“The hatred out there right now – within our community, outside of our community – is escalating. And it’s sad to see these flyers dropped in our local neighborhood, right by Edison (High School) on what I believe is the day of their graduation,” she told Voice of OC.

"I want to be abundantly clear, the messaging contained within these flyers is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the values or ideas we believe here in Huntington Beach. Hateful rhetoric or prejudice of any kind is inexcusable and we have zero tolerance for it within our community."
Huntington Beach Police Department spokesperson Jessica Cuchilla confirmed the presence of the flyers to Voice of OC and said the department is investigating the incident.
“We did take a report and are currently investigating and looking into this incident. But we take our reports seriously and we’re committed to investigating this,” she told the news outlet.
Residents with information on the flyers was asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at (714) 960-8811.
