Architectural Renderings of the Asian American Museum at Great Park Reveal an Imaginative Complex
Renderings showcase the Asian American Museum at Great Park in Irvine as an inclusive, creative, and vibrant cultural hub

Architectural renderings of the planned Asian American Museum at Great Park in Irvine recently released to the public show an imaginative complex with nearly 40,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor space to be built in phase one of the project at the Great Park’s Cultural Terrace.
Among the amenities planned for the Museum complex are a restaurant, a demonstration kitchen for classes and exhibitions, an incubator kitchen, 400-seat auditorium, and beautiful exhibition and classroom space, all set amid a spacious landscaped courtyard planned to host public and private events. A fundraising campaign for this legacy project is now under way.
The Museum has been designed by Irvine-based LPA Design Studios architectural firm, which has designed other key projects in the Great Park area, most notably the 280,000-square-foot Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena. LPA received the 2025 AIA Architecture Firm Award, the industry association’s highest honor.
