Arrows Found In OC Neighborhood, Police Seek Archer

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Authorities are on the lookout after receiving reports of residents finding hard-tipped arrows in a south Huntington Beach neighborhood, Huntington Beach police officers said Friday.

Huntington Beach Police Spokesperson Jessica Cuchilla told the Daily Pilot that the arrows measure about a foot in length and have been found near Brookhurst Street and Indianapolis Avenue.

Authorities have been receiving reports of the arrows over the last two weeks. The Huntington Beach Police Department issued a safety bulletin addressing the issue, asking the public to be on the lookout for anyone being seen in the area with a crossbow, compound bow or other arrow-shooting device.

"Huntington Beach police officers are concerned about the possibility of someone being struck by one of the falling arrows," a statement from the department read.
