Beloved Orange County Seafood Restaurant Shuts Down Service

The restaurant opened its doors in 2021 in Old Town Orange and will serve its final meal on April 30.

ORANGE, CA — A well-known seafood eatery located in Old Town Orange will serve its last meal on Thursday, April 30.

King's Seafood Company, a Costa Mesa-based restaurant group, purchased the O Sea brand and its intellectual property.

O Sea founder Mike Flynn will move into a senior role at the company as vice president of culinary and brand development, while the restaurant's general manager will take on a leadership training and development role within the organization, The Orange County Register reported.

"This is a proud and full-circle moment," King's Seafood Company Founder Sam King said in a written release. "Mike began his career with us early on, and it's incredibly meaningful to welcome him back in a leadership role."

O Sea staff will be given the chance to interview for positions within King's Seafood Company's portfolio of restaurants, including Water Grill, King's Fish House, 555 East Steakhouse, Lou and Mickey's and more.
