Buena Park Student Arrested on Suspicion of Threat
A Buena Park High School student was arrested Monday on suspicion of posting a threat against the school.
BUENA PARK, CA — A Buena Park High School student was arrested Monday on suspicion of posting a threat against the school.
The student was taken to juvenile hall to be booked, Buena Park police Sgt. Chad Waver said.
The suspect found a photo online of someone holding a gun and posted it to the TikTok social media app with the threat, "Don't come to school tomorrow if you (want to) live," Weaver said.
Police tracked down the suspect after the threat was posted about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Weaver said.

Classes went on without interruption Monday, but police posted extra patrols around campus, Weaver said.
