Burned Body Found On OC Freeway Identified; Police Seek Info
Police sought the public's help Friday after the burned body of a man found in Orange County was identified as a Long Beach man.
ANAHEIM, CA — Authorities this week asked for the public's help in the investigation of the death of a Long Beach man, who's body was found burned along an Anaheim Hills roadway.
Anaheim police officers and firefighters were dispatched to a small fire on Tuesday at around 4 a.m. and found a body on the side of the road in the 8700 block of Santa Ana Canyon Road in the Anaheim Hills area.

The burned body was identified as 35-year-old Robert Winner of Long Beach. Investigators said the death was a homicide.

Detectives are searching for the suspects responsible for killing Winner.
According to police, investigators believe the suspect (or suspects) fled the area in a vehicle. Authorities are looking to speak with anyone who was on Santa Ana Canyon Road or State Route 91 on April 9, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
