Beth Leavel brings her expertise in both performance and teaching to this very individualized training session.
WHAT TO PREPARE: Come with a 32 bar or 1-minute audition cut of a song of your choice; but know the whole song.
NOTE: Beth will work with 8 singers in 10-15 minute blocks. To make the most out of her time with you, you will be asked to submit a copy of your sheet music ahead of time. Once you are confirmed as a singing participant, you will receive an email informing you where to send it. (You will hear from us either way). All other people signed up as participants will be alternates in case of cancellations, and we ask that alternates bring their music with them to the training session and be prepared to sing in case time becomes available. In the even that alternates do not get a chance to work with Beth, we will issue a full refund.
An accompanist will be provided, music must be in the proper key. No backing tracks.
Observers will not only have the invaluable and rare opportunity to "learn by watching", but the evening will include a Q&A for all in attendance. Participants may be asked to meet early to run their number with the accompanist prior to the start of class.
