Burt Bacharach is an American composer, songwriter, record producer, and pianist who is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th-century popular music. He composed hundreds of pop songs, many in collaboration with lyricist Hal David. His 52 top 40 hits including "This Guy's in Love with You”, & "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head”, & "(They Long to Be) Close to You”, “The Look of Love” and “What the World Needs Now is Love.” Bacharach and David also wrote the score for the 1968 musical Promises, Promises, which included "I'll Never Fall in Love Again". Bacharach has six Grammys, three Oscars, and one Emmy.
