Old World Huntington Beach goes full shred for an eight-hour marathon of 80s heavy metal. Seven of Southern California’s best tribute bands take over two stages with back-to-back sets covering the Scorpions, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, and W.A.S.P. Leather, spandex, and big hair strongly encouraged. This is the biggest metal event of the year at Old World.
About the Bands
LOVEDRIVE
Tribute to the Scorpions
LOVEDRIVE was formed in 2012 in Southern California and is proudly named after the Scorpions’ pinnacle 1979 album. Capturing the sound, look, and energy of the iconic band in their glory, LOVEDRIVE performs an exciting catalog spanning the late 70s through the 2022 release “Rock Believer.” In 2019 at the Whisky A Go-Go, the band performed three classic Scorpions hits with the band’s long-standing drummer James Kottak. LOVEDRIVE is the closest thing to visiting Hannover, Germany here in the U.S.A.

Tribute to Judas Priest
THE PRIEST is a Southern California-based tribute to Judas Priest that has been paying homage to the Metal Gods for over 10 years. They have performed at House of Blues Hollywood, House of Blues Anaheim, The Troubadour, The Viper Room, Whisky A Go-Go, and countless other venues for thousands of metal fans. All members have been staples in the SoCal music scene for over 25 years, bringing the sights and sounds worthy of the Mighty Priest.
