Capital Rioter Arrested And Sentenced In Orange County
A former Orange County resident was sentenced to two weeks behind bars Friday for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol in 2020.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A former Placentia resident was sentenced to two weeks behind bars and two years of probation Friday for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol following the 2020 election, the Orange County Register reported.
According to the report, social media posts, cell tower data and surveillance footage showed David Antonio Ticas inside the Capitol in Washington D.C. after it had been breached by over 1,000 supporters of former president Donald Trump.
Ticas is currently a resident on Buford, Georgia and was arrested in Brea in September 2021, according to the report.
