An Anaheim car crash led police to a man with an outstanding warrant for rape, 6 years ago. Now, he is making his first court appearance.

A car crash in Orange led to the arrest of a man who fled the county from Mexico over 6 years ago after being accused of rape. Aristeo Alquicirez, 40, was expected to make his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
Alquicirez is accused of raping an unnamed woman at knife-point on April 14, 2012. In addition to rape, he is charged with criminal threats, assault with the intent to commit a sex offense and first-degree burglary, according to court records.
