ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Holi celebrations, the colorful Indian traditions welcoming spring's onset, are gearing up throughout the Southland, with one scheduled this weekend in Orange County, another geared for little ones, plus two area eateries offering specials.
At least four festivals are set throughout the Greater Los Angles region in coming weeks. However, two O.C. fests and one in San Diego planned for this weekend were canceled, according to organizers.
But still on track on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Anaheim, the Festival of Colors will be at La Palma Park, complete with music and dance performances, a DJ and hourly color throws, along with Indian food and beverages available from vendors.
