Celebrate Valentine's Day In Downtown Disney With Red Velvet CraftShakes

ANAHEIM, CA — When it comes to holidays at Disneyland Resort, we found a mid-week restaurant where guests can enjoy a great meal with spectacular desserts without breaking the bank.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes is an easy walk from the main gates of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, as well as from area hotels. When you go, get in line at the door for fast counter service, then grab a seat outside to enjoy the sights and sounds of the retail shopping district. This fast-casual restaurant offers something for everyone, from Wagyu burgers with sweet potato fries to queso and chips and chicken tenders. The menu is vast and frequently updated. This month, there is a sweet chef's kiss at the end of your meal when you go.

Black Tap is offering a CrazyShake for February, featuring a red velvet cupcake, buttercream frosting, and a delicious cone. Head to the burger joint located at 1540 Disneyland Drive to sample the Crazyshake. The minishake is an ideal way to end your meal, and it's small enough to order one for you and your Valentine.

"The Red Velvet Mini CrazyShake will be available throughout February at all U.S. Black Tap locations, including New York City, Nashville, Dallas, Las Vegas at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and Anaheim at Downtown Disney District," a spokesperson for the chain told Patch.

The dessert features a rich red velvet shake, a cream cheese–frosted rim with red velvet crumbs, and a mini red velvet cupcake, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

Black Tap Corporate Executive Chef Stephen Parker spoke on the concoction.

“We took the classic flavors of red velvet cake and gave them the full Black Tap, over-the-top treatment," he said.
