Coach Accused Of Sending 'Inappropriate' Texts To Students Released
An Orange County high school coach accused of sending inappropriate texts to a girl he was coaching posted bail Monday and was released.

SANTA ANA, CA — A Santa Ana high school coach accused of sending inappropriate messages to a student he was coaching and attempting to meet with her posted bail Monday and was released from jail, authorities said.
Aaron Raya, 28, was arrested Sunday at his Santa Ana home for a "sex-related charge" and had his bail set at $100,000, Santa Ana police officers said.
Raya is the head track and field coach and also coaches football, and he's a substitute teacher at Godinez High School in Santa Ana, authorities said.

According to investigators, Raya would talk to the teen during the school year through social media, and when she graduated, he started "contacting her in a sexual manner and attempted to meet with her," a Santa Ana Police Department news release read.
Two underage former students have also accused the coach of making "sexual advances" toward them, authorities said.
