Construction Crew Ruptures Gas Line In Garden Grove
Orange County Fire Authority firefighters were at the scene of a broken gas line at Haster and Chapman in the city of Garden Grove.
GARDEN GROVE, CA —Emergency responders worked to stop a gas leak near the intersection of Haster Street and Chapman Avenue, Thursday.
A construction crew ruptured a natural gas line during their work on that intersection, Orange County Fire Authority Spokeswoman Colleen Windsor told Patch.
Firefighters were called at 8:45 a.m., and road closures were requested, according to Windsor.
