Crews Extinguish Apartment Fire In Irvine
Firefighters arrived at 1:40 p.m. at the apartment complex in the 100 block of Streamwood.
IRVINE, CA -- A second-floor apartment in Irvine was damaged by fire Saturday, authorities said. Firefighters arrived at 1:40 p.m. at the apartment complex in the 100 block of Streamwood, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito said. The flames were out at 1:58 p.m.
Flames were contained to a bedroom of the second-floor apartment, but the rest of the unit was damaged by water and smoke, Bommarito said.
No injuries were reported, he said.
