Disabled Resident Rescued From Burning Home, Thanks To OC Firefighters
The fire was reported in the 12600 block of Groveview Street in Garden Grove at 6:33 a.m. Thursday.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A disabled resident was rescued from a burning home in Garden Grove Thursday morning thanks to a quick response from the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire was called in at 6:33 a.m. Thursday morning in the 12600 block of Groveview Street in Garden Grove. Authorities said the fire started in the back patio of the house.
According to authorities, the residents who called the fire in said they were trapped and trying to get one of their disabled family members out of the house.

Upon arriving, Garden Grove police officers forced entry and rescued the residents out the front of the house as firefighters knocked down the fire from the back.
One resident was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Their status was not known.
