Disney Officially Retires Major Hotel Perk For Guests
Disneyland has officially scrapped one of its most popular on-property benefits, according to multiple reports.
ANAHEIM, CA — A big change is underway for Disneyland hotel guests.
As of this week, Disneyland has officially retired the 30-minute Early Entry benefit that once allowed guests at the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel to enter both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure ahead of the public to experience the park with shorter wait times.
In its place, Disneyland will offer resort guests a one-use complimentary Lightning Lane pass —one entry per guest, per stay.

The credit is valid for any attraction included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Rides like "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance" and "Radiator Springs Racers" are not included in the credit.
According to Fox11, Disneyland originally announced that it would sunset that 30-minute Early Entry for resort guests, citing that it was not "widely used."
