Disneyland Closes 4 Rides Amid Bustling Holiday Season

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland Resort announced its temporary ride and attraction refurbishment schedule for 2023-2024 just days after Thanksgiving weekend brought in the start of a winter holiday season that draws huge crowds.

Astro Orbitor, Mark Twain Riverboat, Indiana Jones Adventure and the Incredicoaster are temporarily closed as a part of the annual refurbishment schedule.

While the closures of the mentioned rides will be short-lived, other rides will be unavailable for several weeks or months.

Disney California Adventure Closures

• Beast’s Library in the Disney Animation Building – Closes permanently on Dec. 11, 2023
• Incredicoaster – Closed Nov. 27, 2023 to Dec. 1, 2023
• Paint the Night Parade – Return Date Unknown (Possibly Spring/Summer 2024)
• Rogers: The Musical – Return Date Unknown (Possibly Spring 2024)
• World of Color ONE – Closed Jan. 8, 2024 to Feb. 29, 2024

• Fantasmic – Paused until May 24, 2024.
