Disneyland Employee Dies After Falling From Golf Cart At Theme Park: Officials
The woman, an administrator at Disneyland's Club 33, died 2 days after falling and hitting her head, authorities said.

ANAHEIM, CA — A Disneyland employee died Friday, two days after falling from a moving golf cart and hitting her head at the theme park's resort in Anaheim, authorities said.
The woman was identified as Bonnye Mavis Lear, 60, of Fullerton, according to Orange County coroner's spokesperson Sgt. Frank Gonzalez. She was an administrator at Disneyland's private Club 33.
Paramedics were dispatched at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to West Ball Road and South West Street for a traffic collision at a backstage area of the theme park, according to Anaheim police. First responders found that a Disneyland employee had fallen from a moving golf cart and struck her head.

"The woman was transported to a local hospital in grave condition," said Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon McClintock.
Lear worked in membership support services at Club 33, a members-only restaurant and lounge in the New Orleans Square area of the park, according to The Orange County Register.

"We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye, and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her," Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said in a statement to City News Service. "At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need."
