Disneyland Halloween Bash 2022 Dates Announced: How To Buy Tickets

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland Resort has announced the dates for the 2022 Oogie Boogie Bash — the park's separate ticketed event that allows for dressing up, trick-or-treating and special character interactions with park villains.

Have you gone? This is one of our favorite family events year after year.

Patch attended in 2021, after a year of park closure and was not disappointed, even though special allowances were made for not-so-up-close-and-personal interaction with such baddies as Sid (Toy Story), the Mad Hatter (Alice In Wonderland) and more. The trick-or-treating was phenomenal as were the parades, the villains and the food. This year promises to be much of the same, according to a Disneyland Resort spokesperson.

The event will start Sept. 6 and run through Halloween night on select nights, with a full schedule to be released on June 28, according to the resort.

What to Know When You Go:

You will need to buy a ticket to the special event. You will NOT need to book a theme park reservation for that day to gain early admission into Disney California Adventure Park only, with entrance as early as 3 p.m.

The party starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 11 p.m.

Tickets start at $129 each for guests 3 and up. (See more special information on ticketing below). There is an 8-ticket limit per family. Costumes are acceptable as long as they meet the costume guidelines.

While you're there, enjoy a limited capacity crowd, with shorter waits at your favorite attractions.

Take part in meet and greets with the Disney characters.

Stroll the park to take in the whimsical and spooky Halloween decorations, and get your photo taken as an unlimited download photo pass is part of the party.

Be sure and spend some extra time waiting in line at the Villains Grove on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Special Information on the Oogie Boogie Bash for Disney D23 fan club members and Magic Key Holders:

Disneyland's Magic Key holders will get preferred access to a select amount of pre-sale tickets ahead of the general public, and D23 Members can purchase tickets to their own exclusive night taking place on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

General admission tickets go on sale June 30, 2022 and start at $129 per Guest (ages 3+).

D23 Members will need to sign in with their linked Disney account in order to purchase tickets to the D23 Member-exclusive night taking place on Saturday, September 10, 2022. NOTE: You'll need to bring your membership card (physical or digital) along with your tickets! or you may not be admitted into the event.

Guests who recently added a D23 Membership, or made changes to their account, may need to sign out and sign back in to their Disney account for updates or changes to be reflected.
