Disneyland To Allow Lovers To Say 'I Do' In Front Of Iconic Ride

Disneyland will soon allow patrons to hold wedding ceremonies at one of the park's most well-loved backdrops.

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland will soon let patrons walk down the aisle at one of its most famous backdrops and well-loved rides.

Starting in July, the Haunted Mansion Courtyard will open for wedding ceremonies and vow renewals.

The wedding ceremonies are private — unless you count the mansion's grim grinning ghouls bound to attend — scheduled to take place before the park opens for the day.

The ceremonies will accommodate up to 25 guests, according to Disneyland officials, and packages include an officiant, light decoration, photography and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel.

The new addition joins several Disneyland-operated wedding venues within and around the park, though it stands out for its unique photo experience and dramatic backdrop.

Other Disneyland wedding venue locations include the nearby Magnolia Park Terrace in New Orleans Square, the Disney Animation Building in Disney California Adventure and the Fantasy Faire Garden at Disneyland Park.

It's one of the few Disneyland wedding venues that offers a unique in-park experience available only before or after park hours, the other being The Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt — which includes a glamorous wedding set-up in the shadow of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
