ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Disneyland visitors will be able to pay a visit to the grinning ghosts and ghouls at the Haunted Mansion this Halloween season, though a traditional standby queue won't be offered amid construction.

The popular attraction will re-open with a virtual queue as crews continue to work on an expanded outdoor queue and new store, park officials announced Thursday.

Construction started in January, and the ride will re-open at the start of the park's Halloween season on Aug. 23.
