Tree Falls On Couple At Disneyland
The couple was visiting from Nevada for the final night of Disneyland's Valentine-themed "Sweethearts Night."
ANAHEIM, CA — A couple celebrating Valentine's Day at Disneyland was treated for minor injuries after a tree fell in the park Tuesday night.
"My husband and I were the ones hit," LeWanda Joseph of Las Vegas wrote on the Disneyland Magic Keyholders Facebook group. "The tree fell directly on top of us. We had just sat down to take photos at the table when the tree snapped and fell."
According to Disneyland officials, the tree on the patio of Plaza Inn came down around 11:40 p.m. due to strong winds and rains.
