Donate Blood In Orange County Amid Shortage: Where To Donate
The American Red Cross is hosting several blood drives, and offering incentives to Orange County residents who donate blood.
ORANGE COUNTY CA — While the season changes from summer to fall, the American Red Cross' need for donated blood remains the same — especially amid a current nationwide blood shortage.
The American Red Cross is hosting a slew of blood drives across Orange County and offering an abundance of incentives for scheduling an appointment.
All donors who donate blood through Aug. 17 will automatically be entered to win a three-night New York getaway for two with a private shark dive adventure at Long Island Aquarium, courtesy of Warner Bros. for the theatrical release of "Meg 2: The Trench."

Residents who donate blood throughout the month of August will automatically receive a free $10 gift card to a vendor of their choice.

- Aug. 1: 12:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., St Irenaeus Catholic Church, 5201 Evergreen Ave.
- Aug. 3: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Kaiser Permanente Orange County Anaheim Medical Center, 3440 E La Palma Ave.
- Aug. 4: 1 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Huntington Beach Masonic Lodge, 601 Palm Ave.
- Aug. 6: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., St Anthony Claret Catholic Church, 1450 E. La Palma.
- Aug. 7: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., Buena Park Downtown, 8308 On the Mall, Suite #249, 2nd Floor.
- Aug. 8: 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Anaheim Public Library Euclid Branch, 1340 S Euclid St.
- Aug. 9: 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Concorde Career College, 12951 Euclid Street Suite 101.
