Donations Urgently Sought At OC Nonprofit For Holidays: How To Help

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — As Christmas Day approaches, a local nonprofit sought the public's help in addressing a critical need for gift donations to bring joy to countless families in need.

Now, Orange County Rescue Mission is calling upon the community for help providing essentials, gifts and other supplies for its Dec. 14 gift exchange at the Village of Hope in Tustin.

The most-sought items for adult residents include beanies or warm hats, wallets, watches, journals and pens, hair ties and accessories, reusable water bottles, baseball caps, socks, nail polish, throw blankets, local sports teams fan gear, $10 fast food gift cards and $10 Walmart or Target gift cards.

For kids, residents were urged to donate craft kits, paint sets, coloring and sticker books, dolls, LEGO sets, toy trains and cars, sports equipment, non-battery operated or USB connected gifts.

All donations can be dropped off daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 13 at the Village of Hope at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin.
