The Dragon Kim Foundation’s First Annual Cigar Fundraiser Is Set for Sunday Sept. 13 in Irvine
Guests invited to light up and ignite change for nonprofit organizationn that helps teens improve their world through service projects
The First Annual Dragon Kim Foundation Cigar Fundraiser is set for Sunday, September 13 from 5 until 8 PM in Irvine to help support the nonprofit Foundation - http://dragonkimfoundation.org – whose mission is to inspire our youth to impact their communities while discovering and pursuing their passions.
Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of premium cigars, drinks,light refreshments, and a raffle at a private cigar lounge in Irvine – all amid great company and for a powerful purpose. All proceeds support the Foundation and student-led community impact projects.

In 2025, the Foundation trained and funded 138 teens across 60 community service projects who collectively impacted56,260 members of their communities. To prepare, they receive mentorship, training, and resources, including a grant of up to $5,000 to activate their social entrepreneurial programs in their respective communities.
“We invite everyone to join us for good company, cigars, food, drink, and a good time for a dragon of a good cause,” said Dragon Kim Foundation CEO and Co-Founder Daniel Kim. “We celebrate the memory of our son Dragon, who was named for the Golden Dragon, the most auspicious zodiac symbol of the year of his birth in 2000, and our last name Kim, which means gold.”
