I know every dog's life matters, but Drakeo's story truly broke my heart. He was raised by a teenager who loved him deeply and did everything he could to care for him. But he was still a minor, and Drakeo shouldn't have been his responsibility. It was an unfair situation for both of them. When his mother decided to surrender him, he had no say in the decision.
I was so worried about Drakeo's life—and about how his young owner would cope if Drakeo didn't make it out alive. Thankfully, this incredible rescue stepped up and gave him the second chance he deserved.
