Driver Dies When Car Slams 91 Freeway Divider: CHP

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A motorist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday on the Artesia (91) Freeway in Buena Park, authorities said.

The crash on the westbound freeway, just west of Valley View Street, occurred around 7 a.m. Sunday, when a vehicle went across all lanes of traffic and smashed into the right shoulder of the freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A representative from the Orange County coroner's office was called to the scene at 8:13 a.m., as well as firefighters to extricate the victim from the vehicle.
