Fatal Crash On 57 Freeway, Lanes Reopen Hours Later
One person has died after a collision between a sedan and semi-truck in Anaheim, early Wednesday between Ball Road and Lincoln Avenue.

ANAHEIM, CA —One person died early Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on the northbound Orange 57 Freeway in the Anaheim area. A SIGalert was in place for 5 hours before it was canceled, with California Highway Patrol reopening the #4 lane at 9:30 a.m. and the #5 lane at 11 a.m.
The crash occurred about 5:30 a.m. north of Ball Road, between Ball and Lincoln Avenue, when a sedan collided with a semi-truck resulting in a fatality, according to CHP. Two lanes of the freeway were closed in a SIGalert for the investigation.
The Orange County Coroner's office was called to the scene though further information on the victim was not immediately available.
