Mother's Boyfriend Charged In Baby's Death
An Orange County man was charged with killing his girlfriend's 17-month-old daughter in the city of Orange.
SANTA ANA, CA - A 28-year-old man was charged Friday with killing the 17-month-old daughter of his girlfriend last week in the city of Orange.
Christopher David Recio was charged with single felony counts each of child assault causing death and murder.
Recio is accused of killing the baby Jan. 5 in the 3100 block of West Chapman Avenue, according to Sgt. Phil McMullin of the Orange Police Department. The victim's name was not released.

The baby sustained trauma to the head, McMullin said.
