FedEx Driver Smashes 4 Cars In OC Ahead Of Christmas, Suspected Of DUI

A delivery driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing into numerous cars Thursday near La Habra Boulevard and Euclid Street.

ANAHEIM, CA — A FedEx truck loaded with packages crashed into numerous cars in north Anaheim, near La Habra, police say.

Just after 7 p.m., a FedEx driver— believed to be driving under the influence— smashed into at least four vehicles, leaving packages strewn across the intersection of Euclid Street and Crescent Avenue, according to Anaheim Police.

"The driver is a 22-year-old Buena Park resident," Anaheim Sgt. Matt Stutter said. His identity has not yet been released.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where the FedEx truck driver and one other person were transported to the hospital, both with minor injuries, Stutter said.

FedEx told Patch they were aware of the incident but had no other information.
