Fire Breaks Out Wednesday At Orange County Landfill: CHP
The fire was reported at Santiago Canyon Landfill at 1:19 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA ā A vegetation fire was reported on the 241 Toll Road traveling southbound Wednesday afternoon through Orange, the California Highway Patrol said.
The fire was initially reported at 1:19 p.m. on the toll road near Santiago Canyon Road. According to authorities, the fire was apparently started at Santiago Canyon Landfill.
Residents were urged to steer clear of the area while crews address the flames.
At 1:49 p.m., the Orange County Fire Authority reported that firefighters were at the scene working to douse the flames. The fire was reported to be at less than an acre.
The cause is currently under investigation.
