Fire Erupts At Orange County Apartment Building, 2 Injured

Flames and smoke could be seen across Orange County as a fire raged at this 8-unit apartment building in Tustin.

TUSTIN, CA — A Tustin apartment building caught fire Sunday, engulfing two units and displacing multiple residents, Orange County Fire Authority reported. Two residents were injured in the blaze, authorities say.

Sunday at 5:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the eight-unit complex in the 13000 block of Tustin E. Drive, to find the upstairs units fully aflame. Firefighters stopped the flames from spreading beyond two units, said OCFA Communications Director Colleen Windsor.

One victim was treated at the scene, another taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Windsor said.
