1 Dead, Several Injured In Destructive OC House Fire

FULLERTON, CA — One person was found dead and two others were injured after a fire tore through several mobile homes in Fullerton Tuesday morning.

The blaze was reported at about 5 a.m. in the 1800 block of Orangethorpe Avenue, according to Deputy Chief Jon Fugitt of the Fullerton Police Department.

One mobile home engulfed in flames when the crews from the FFD and Anaheim Fire and Rescue arrived to the blaze, he said.

A person was found dead inside the unit where the fire was first reported. They were not identified, authorities said.

Two other individuals were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not known.

At least three units were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fullerton fire and police departments.
