Flights Suspended When Fire Breaks Out Near Orange County Airport: OCFA
A fire ignited at an industrial building near the Fullerton Airport Wednesday.
FULLERTON, CA — Orange County firefighters were battling a blaze at an industrial building near the Fullerton Airport Wednesday, triggering a brief suspension of air traffic at the facility.
The fire broke out at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3600 block of Commonwealth Avenue.
Departing and arriving flights were held up due to the fire, ABC7 reported, but the FAA said the airport was back in full operation as of 1:30 p.m.
