Gambling Operation Quashed In Orange County
A SWAT team descended upon an illegal gambling operation in a Buena Park strip mall.
BUENA PARK, CA — Orange County authorities shut down an illegal gambling organization in Buena Park late Tuesday, officials said. Officers arrested nine people during the raid, a Buena Park Police spokesperson said.
The people running the operation at a Dale Street and La Palma strip mall were known to be armed; therefore West County Regional SWAT team served a search warrant, they reported.
Police also seized several gambling machines during the raid, police said.
