Gas Prices Continue To Drop In Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The cost of fuel is continuing to drop, but if you're like us, there is still some pain when you pay at the pump.
This week, gas prices continue to drop across the Southland. In Orange County, the average rate of self-serve regular gasoline has dropped seven-tenths of a cent to an average price of $3.994. The new average price marks the first time since April 12 of this year that the average price for a gallon of gas in Orange County was below the $4 mark.
Though the price has fallen over the past 14 days, decreasing just over 7-cents per gallon, this is still 27.6 cents higher than gasoline cost one year ago, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.

In Los Angeles, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday for the 14th consecutive day, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $4.023, its lowest amount since April 11.
The average price has decreased 9.7 cents over the past 14 days, including two-tenths of a cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.3 cents less than one week ago and 5.5 cents lower than one month ago but 27.3 cents higher than one year ago.
