ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs, declared for the third time, "I'm Going to Disneyland!"

The Mahomes family and their celebratory cavalcade moved down Main Street, U.S.A., at 2 p.m. Monday.

On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This is the third time Mahomes has been named Super Bowl MVP and the third time he has been featured in the famous commercial, according to a Disneyland spokesperson.

The Super Bowl festivities are moving to Disneyland Resort in California on Monday, where Mahomes will lead in a colorful and high-energy cavalcade through Disneyland Park.

"It's the most magical way for Mahomes to celebrate his team's Super Bowl title," a park spokesperson said.

During Sunday's game, Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 25-22 overtime win over San Francisco and was named Super Bowl MVP for the third time after throwing the game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left in overtime. Mahomes earned 333 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, leading his team to the win.

Mahomes joins a list of other NFL heavyweights who have been a part of Disney's long-standing Super Bowl tradition, which began in 1987 when New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms first appeared in the commercial following his team's Super Bowl win. He is one of a mere handful to go multiple times after such a victory.
