87-Year-Old Man Found: Critical Missing In Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, CA — The family of a Santa Ana man, missing since Tuesday sought his whereabouts, authorities said. The Santa Ana police Thursday were looking for an 87-year- old man who failed to make it to a doctor's appointment Tuesday.
An 87-year-old Santa Ana man who recently experienced some symptoms of dementia was located after being reported missing when he failed to make it to a doctor's appointment Tuesday, authorities said Friday.
Details of where and when David James Wood was found, as well as his physical condition, were not immediately available, according Sgt. Rosa Ponce de Leon of the Santa Ana Police Department.
