Hit-And-Run Kills Pedestrian; Suspect's Car Found Abandoned
Authorities Monday were searching for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in Orange County.
BUENA PARK, CA β Police Monday were searching for the driver of a car involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Buena Park after the car was found abandoned.
The crash was reported at 1:53 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Beach and Artesia boulevards, according to the Buena Park Police Department.
The crash involved a pedestrian and a Kia sedan, police said.

The victim was found at the scene and taken to a local hospital, where they died of their injuries.
Police eventually found the white Kia sedan involved in the crash without a driver on Valley View Street near Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove, police said Monday.

The car was found seven miles from the crash with "damage consistent with a collision," police said.
